UC San Diego’s Media Teaching Lab offers workshops on video production to the campus community. Topics include editing, HD workflows, camera use, sound, and lighting techniques.

- Media Resume Building for the Graduating Senior – Whether you are writing a resume for your first job or not, this workshop will dive into the dos and do nots of resume building for media-based positions like what a cover letter should include and what points of interest should be on one’s resume. We will also cover video portfolios on websites: personal vs. YouTube, Tumblr, Vimeo, and others.
- Alternative Film Financing and Distribution Workshop – What are the options for independent film and TV producers getting their projects financed and distributed? Better yet, how do you fund your own projects directly out of college? Want to learn more about this subject? A special one time only workshop the evening of the Up & Coming Student Film Festival, Friday, May 13.
